Feet in Focus is a pedorthic practice specialising in custom orthopaedic footwear.

What is a Pedorthist?

A Pedorthist Custom Maker is an allied health professional who is specifically trained and educated in the design, fit and function of prefabricated, modified, and custom footwear, orthotics and foot devices, to prevent or alleviate foot problems caused by disease, congenital defect, overuse or injury.

Custom Orthopaedic Footwear

Custom-made orthopaedic footwear are designed to cater for specific conditions, compensate for disabilities, minimise pain and ultimately normalise gait to increase your capacity and improve your daily-life.

With the aid of advanced diagnostic tools combined with decades worth of expertise, we implement an evidence-based paradigm to provide a comprehensive assessment to determine the best foot care treatment and solution for your individual needs.

Orthotic Therapy

Foot Orthoses (also known as foot orthotic devices) are specially designed shoe inserts that can be corrective to help support the feet, improve foot posture and correct any imbalances, or that can be accommodative to deflect and offload excessive plantar pressure points. Our foot orthotics can be designed to fit into prefabricated, modified, and custom footwear.

Footwear Modifications

Pedorthic footwear modifications are available for those who require corrective and accommodative features in their prefabricated footwear to address a large range of foot, ankle, and mobility issues.
